Where are you celebrating Independent Bookstore Day? I’m going to be in Waterford, Wisconsin (not too far from Milwaukee or the northern suburbs of Chicago) as part of the amazing celebration hosted by @readsbytheriverbookstore! I’ll be on a romance writing panel at 3 pm with @shelby_saville_author and @authoraschuh at the Waterford Library Community Room. This bookstore has SO much going on for the day…adorable totes with purchases, SO MANY amazing giveaways, and a historical fiction author panel at 1 pm with @kellymustianauthor, Embassie Susberry, and @todlending. I’m so excited! It’s going to be the place to be!

I’m hosting free writing sprints over Zoom in April, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. CST.
Romance book cover reveal--tell me what you think! 🥰 I hope everyone enjoys this time travel romcom. It's sort of Bridgerton meets modern-day Chicago. And yes, it's a sequel to HER KNIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, starring Rose! So grateful to @berkleyromance--they do such beautiful book cover designs!
Bookstores are where (even though I’m on a budget) I turn into the greediest person you’ve ever met.
Romance readers, do you like dogs (or cats) in your books? And romance authors, have any of your pets made it into your novels? 🥰 In HER KNIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, Emily’s dog Andy War-Howl is really just our rescue beagle mix here, named Bingley. He has such a good heart and such a LOUD BARK (more of a roar!) He also plays an important role in the sequel, starring Rose, who is dog-sitting him at the beginning. ✨
