I truly appreciate the Arlington Heights Memorial Library—it’s open till 9 pm on weekdays, and I do a lot of book editing for clients and writing there. It’s my home away from home! They always have great programs there. I loved this Day of the Dead / DÃa de Los Muertos altar. When we lived in Tucson, DÃa de Los Muertos was a big community celebration, and I know it is in some Chicago neighborhoods, too!
Do you have a favorite witchy or magical romance? I am re-reading Lana Harper’s Witches of Thistle Grove series. I love these books! I just realized I need to get the last one in paperback, though! I want her to sign them all when I have an author event with her at Love’s Sweet Arrow in Tinley Park (Chicago suburbs) on Nov. 16th!
