My apologies… I discontinued Blank Page to Final Draft because it didn’t sync with many readers’ schedules and works in progress. However, you can order the book and do the program at your own pace!
Blank Page to Final Draft: Write, Revise, Edit, and Complete Your Novel in 2016!
My apologies… I discontinued Blank Page to Final Draft because it didn’t sync with many readers’ schedules and works in progress. However, you can order the book and do the program at your own pace!
I love, love, love this idea!! I am such a procrastinator and don’t really have ANY type of plan for my writings, so a schedule put forth that has actually worked for you is awesome! I’m looking forward to this, thank you! 🙂
Oh, I’m so glad! I think breaking a big job into a bunch of small chunks makes it a lot easier to get it done. 🙂
I agree! That’s the best way to go about it; plus then you don’t get burnt out or else don’t do it because it seems like too much! (as I tend to do sometimes..)
Let’s do it, Bryn!
Laurie Jean! Yay, hope you like it!
I look forward to reading the series.
Thanks Ula, hope it’s helpful!
I like this idea. This will potentially mean I can plan and write, around my university work. 🙂
Yes, that’s totally the idea! I set it up so that I could do all my day job stuff and still make steady progress.
Can’t wait! Thank you for this.
Yay! Hope it works for you 🙂
Good observation, Bryn! I’m one that does best when my novel is laid out in an outline, which will include timelines to make sure of the chronology of the events and the ages of the characters jibe with the story. If I ever chose to do NanoWM, it would be to strive to have that outline completed, then in December I can start drafting!
Yeah, I think for NaNoWriMo it’s really good to have that stuff worked out in advance — it is for me, anyway!
I look forward to your blogs in 2016 and although I have my own schedule and process well-defined (after years of tweaking), I’m sure you’ll offer something I can use! Thanks!
Ooh! Count me in. I have the last book in my trilogy to write next year and this system of yours sounds pretty perfect.
Oh, great! I hope it works for you!
I think this sounds great! Looking forward to it. I am still trying Nano, but finding it hard to write that many words in a day.
Yeah, working at that pace just isn’t for everybody… and there’s no real reason to go that fast, unless it seems productive and fun to a person.
So true! I’ve found it stresses me out more than anything!
I’m really looking forward to this series. I keep trying to sit down and get some serious work done, but I just never seem to know where to start. This will be so helpful. Thank you.
I’m so glad! I hope it’s a good system for you. I think a novel can be such a daunting project, but it doesn’t look that bad when you break it down into little steps 🙂
This is just what I need! I’m revising/writing draft 2 right now…it’s so hard! I don’t write as much as I should! HELP! I will check back for this series….it sounds great!
Well, I can’t make revising easy, but I can help break it down into manageable pieces! 🙂 I hope this works for you. See you January 1!
I’m interested in following your series. See you Jan. 1st!!!!
Fantastic! Hope you like it!
I’m in!
Yay! See you January 1!
I found your blog through Pinterest, and I just followed! This sounds like a great series, and hopefully it’ll help me finish the monstrous novel that’s lying in pieces around my computer.
Yay! I hope it’s helpful 🙂
Just FYI. I found u thru Amazon. Wen I signed n your book popped up on the home page under recommendations. U must b doin sumthin right. 😉
Really?! That’s pretty awesome! I didn’t know that ever happened, honestly. Thanks for telling me 🙂
Ur wc. ?
I’m looking forward to doing this program with everyone. This is a good way to start 2016–you had me at assignments 🙂 I found your blog on Pinterest.
Keep smiling,
Yawatta
Hi Yawatta! I’m so glad you found my blog 🙂 Hope you like the series, and hope you have a great 2016!
Hi I am super excited to start with my first novel in 2016. Your guidance will be so much appreciated.
Reblogged this on Kim's Author Support Blog.
Although this series is discontinued, I hope you still share all of the steps. I really love your blog and find it super helpful. This is the furthest I’ve ever gotten in my novel writing.
I’m so glad that it helped! It was too fast for a lot of people, and I have been thinking about putting it in book form someday so that people can take it at their own pace… if I do, I’ll offer it for free for a short time and announce it on my blog so blog readers can snap it up 🙂
